The Director of Special Education Internship is one to two semesters (depending on the program) of applied study in a district level Special Education position with on-site supervision by a graduate faculty member. Online course requirements are included for practical learning. The internship is designed to provide experiences in the duties and activities typical of the Director of Special Education under the supervision of an experienced Director of Special Education. The internship should include participation in a maximum number of meaningful activities related to the Director's role. A minimum of 150 clock hours is required. Students take a total of four (4) credits. Fee: Additional fee required.
